About Me

Protecting Your Tresses

I’ve always relished an opportunity to get a new hairstyle. In fact, my hairstylist never knows what I’m going to ask for next. I always keep her in suspense. For the past few years, I’ve switched back and forth between two distinctly different styles. While I enjoy experimenting with my hair, the continuous processing I put it through is detrimental to my tresses. Therefore, I have to be careful to protect my hair. Every day, I apply a deep conditioner to my hair. I also dry my hair on a warm setting instead of a hot one. On this blog, you will learn how to maintain your hairstyle while protecting your tresses from damage.

How You Can Show Up Hair Free In Your Bikini This Summer

As the weather warms up and summer approaches, you might start thinking about bikini season. Before bikini season, you not only have to think about fitting in your swimsuit, but you also have to think about your bikini line. After all, nothing is more embarrassing than showing up to the swimming pool or beach with a few scraggly hairs down there. To help you really enjoy your bikini body and your bikini line this summer, there are a few things that you should consider about laser hair removal.

Why Laser Hair Removal?

Imagine if you didn't have to worry about shaving or waxing your bikini line ever again. With laser hair removal, that dream can be a reality before you know it. By targeting every one of your hair follicles and essentially killing them, laser hair removal actually gets to the source so that you don't ever have to worry about shaving again.

Does It Really Work?

Yes, it does, but because everybody's hair follicles and types of hair are different, it may take you fewer or more sessions than somebody else. During your initial consultation with your laser hair removal specialist, they will be able to give you a better idea of just how long it should take for you to get results. The tricky thing about laser hair removal is that because your hair grows in different cycles, you have to target each one of those cycles during a new session. For instance, during your first session, it will target one cycle of hair growth, then your next session will target another cycle of hair growth, and so on.

Is It Painful?

If there's one thing to know about laser hair removal, it's not that it feels good. In fact, a lot of people say that they feel like laser hair removal feels like rubber bands consistently flicking against their skin. The good news though, is that while it may not be the most comfortable thing out there, it doesn't last very long which makes it really bearable.

Having hair down there and in all the wrong places can be a bit embarrassing when you're in a swimsuit or bikini. Luckily, with a treatment like laser hair removal, you can kiss all of that embarrassment goodbye and strut your sexy self at the pool or beach this summer.
